Abdul Malik Mujahid provides a terse synopsis of the last three decades in Afghanistan. Obviously any article that condenses 30 years of a nation's history into a few paragraphs will be incomplete and controversial. Nonetheless, it's pretty harrowing and a basis for further investigation.
